Birthday Party Fun

Andrew went to a birthday party Sunday. It was a pink pony party - and he had a blast. He got to ride a pony, play with bunnies & run around on a farm. Perfect party.

He had fun and was a great cowboy (the cutest one too, I might add).

Rainy Day = no soccer = antique shopping

Well...it rained on Saturday and soccer was canceled. So we took the opportunity to head to our favorite antique store in Theodore. They know us well now. We wanted a cabinet for Sam's room so he can store his books/toys. We found the perfect piece.

The boys are such troopers and handle getting in the car for mini road trips so well. This trip we decided to treat them to the big planes at the Battleship Park. Sam was in love. His eyes were so big out of pure excitement. We knew Andrew would love the experience - but Sam surprised us.

It was a fun day!

The Red Ponies

Andrew's soccer season has started. Owen is coaching this year. Actually, Owen is the soccer commissioner for the Under 6, 5 and 4 leagues. That was a little bit of a project. There may have been "I'm never going to do this again" moments. But then the first game started and Owen was in love! Ha!! He will coach again and probably be the commissioner but just for Andrew's age group. He had the largest group to organize and he did an amazing job.

But back to Andrew. Since Owen was the commissioner we were able to get all of our friends on the team. Andrew is in to this year b/c he is older and he knows his teammates. It's a win win!

Now onto the pictures. There are alot of them but I want to remember it all. It was a great morning!

Mommy and Me is back

Sam started Mommy and Me again. We had fun. He acted pretty clingy and then later that night developed a fever. So I don't think he felt that well. He was angel at my office and then perfect at Mommy and Me. I think he had fun but I could tell he was off his usual game. We will go back next Tuesday.

This is when I could tell he didn't feel well

First MSU home game of the season

We had been planning on going to the first home game of the season. At the last minute Owen had to work so the boys and I went ahead with our plans. I was able to leave work early so I would not be driving at dark. I am so glad that worked out. The boys had a great time. Nellie and her family came too so there were kids to play with.

Here are pictures of a really good weekend - with the exception of missing Owen.

The four cousins

I just LOVE this picture - Emma and Sam

When did he get so big

Ready to play

at the game - it was a HOT day

Playing the drums with the band
It was a hot day and the boys did great. We actually stayed the WHOLE game which is a Munton first. :) Can't wait for the next game.

Big boy bed

Sam has transitioned to his big boy bed with such ease. The first night he cried for his crib so we put him back in the crib. The next night he seemed to be ready. He hasn't looked back either. I think he likes the extra room. Here are some pictures.

This is Sam loving on is bed while he put it together

His first night in the bed - really 2nd night

Even Andrew got in on the excitement

This was the first night - he looked ready

Happy boy - his mickey mouse pillow was his special new bed item

Cute little booties :)
Sam has even taken naps in his bed with no problems! Yippee for meeting milestones.
