Twin Lakes

For one whole week this summer - Andrew went to Twin Lakes. He loves it. He loves the adventures. Last year his favorite activity was archery. This year his favorite activity was the rock wall.

We miss him so much while he is gone. But we are happy he experiences a summer fun of being with his friends, meeting new friends, eating new things, and surviving the week with out his family.

John Langston - Hubfest

Hattiesburg's Hubfest had John Langston play. He is an up and coming country music singer. The Clarke's really like him and know we all like him. So we braved the rain and went to see him play in Hattiesburg. Andrew was able to talk with the drummer and take a picture. I remember his name is Scott - but can't think of his last name.

Drum Camp

Sam decided to give drums a try this summer. He had a couple of friends that were in the camp too. Sam likes to know people when he does something. Mr. Wooten said he did really good. He could tell that Sam did not want to fail. Sam tried very hard and took to it.

But when all is said and done - he did not want to take weekly lessons like Andrew does.

Beach trip with W friends

At the start of Summer - my friends from the W and their kids got together at the Munton's condo and had the best weekend. I think Wanda really enjoyed it too.
Dara Campbell and her kids Caroline and Cooper were there. Amy Gray and her kids Charlie and Wesley also came. Melanie and her daughter Lila were also there. We missed Luke. The kids are all the same age which makes it fun to see them play and get to know each other. Melanie and Lila brought a bracelet making kit. Sam really got into making bracelet, but all the kids spent hours together making bracelets for themselves, each other and friends back home.

It was a really special week and look forward to many more.

Abby and Heath get engaged

Also on Memorial Day weekend, Heath arranged for a plan to fly by the condo with "will you marry me" sign flying behind it. She said yes and they were married this summer. We really like Heath and it has been good seeing Abby start this new chapter in her life.
