Sam goes to the Zoo for a Field Trip

In June Sam's class went to the zoo. Sam was so excited about this field trip. He talked about it a lot before the trip.

He was pretty shy at first. All of friends wanted to hug him and play with him, but he just wanted me to hold him.

Then he warmed up and ran circles around that zoo. With me chasing behind him and calling for him to SLOW DOWN....DON'T RUN.

Margot and Jack have a birthday

Two of Andrew's class mates have summer birthdays. Their mamma's thought it would be fun to have a swimming party after the key to kindergarten. It was a huge success.

the Key to Kindergarten

Andrew's school had such a sweet end of the year program for Pre-K. All three classes sang songs and then each kid was given a key. Their 6th grade buddies gave the keys out. Andrew's buddy Eli Bridges was sick so another boy Ethan gave him his key. Ethan has been around Andrew all year too so it was still a special moment.

End of the Year Field Trips for Andrew

One of the last weeks of school was state testing week. Pre-K students don't get tested so they planned many trips to get out. They have to be very quiet during that week and it is hard for 4 years to be quiet.

They went to two farms this week. One was a dairy farm - I did not go on that one. The other was Fulmer's Farm. It was an adorable working farm. The kids were able to do many neat things. One thing that was neat for the parents was we went on a horse trailer ride. Both of the horses were pregnant and about to give birth. Just imaging ourselves being 9 months pregnant and pulling a trailer made us have a lot of respect for these horses.

Easter 2015

2015 is not the year for me and journaling. I will be trying to catch up!!

Easter 2015 was a fun one. My parents came to visit. We went to Cousin Connie's for Easter lunch and the kids had a big Easter Egg Hunt. They put money in the eggs so it is fun to see how much money each child gets in the end. Andrew really understood the concept this year.

We also died Easter Eggs!! Fun times!!!

The Easter Bunny dropped by for a visit and brought goodies with him.

After the boys got dressed in their Easter Church outfits we took the annual brother picture. I put an updated picture in a frame that is in Sam's room. We have done this since the first Easter with Sam.

Then we took more pictures of them in their classic Easter clothes.

And then the Easter Egg Hunt.
