2020 Catholic Schools Week

Catholic Schools week was at the end of January. It is a fun week for the kids as well as a week to donate items to our community leaders.

The picture with Fr. Mark is from Andrew's class. They collected items for St. Thomas. Sam's class collected items for the Mayor's office.

The other picture is of the boys waiting with me for a PTO meeting. This banner is located at the back of the high school chapel.

Holiday Progressive Dinner

Our neighborhood friends got together to have a progressive dinner. This was our first year so we did countries. And we did meals at each house. That was alot of food.

The Drakes and Clarkes had America
The Welfords and Rhodes had Mexican
Us and The Lees had Ireland
and then we ended the night at Amanda and Roberts for dessert.

It was such a fun night - as the pictures show - we did wear tacky sweaters.

Christmas Festivities

This post is all the fun holiday things we did this year. Sacred Heart had Christmas concerts, Cub Scouts had a Christmas meeting - Santa even visited. Then we spent time with the Munton's a few days before the 25th.

AR goal

Andrew is a rock star when it comes to reading. He loves getting as many points as he can. I think he had over 50 points each semester.

Normal Day

The first picture is Sam sleeping. He likes to have his lamp on when he goes to sleep. I will go in and turn it off before Owen and I go to bed. Both boys sleep so peacefully that I want to remember them this little. My parents have a couple of pictures of me sleeping and they are the sweetest and most real pictures.

The other two pictures are of sports. Sam playing soccer in the fall and the boys ready for a fall baseball camp at USM. Andrew has decided to keep playing baseball. It seems Sam will continue with soccer.

Sam's 8th Birthday Party - GAME ON!

Oh what fun Sam had on his birthday day. He wanted a video game - game truck party. The game truck was amazing. It held 28 kids at one time. All the kids seemed to get plenty of playing time.
Sam invited family friends, his soccer team, and school friends. He had such a good turn out for his day.

One first that night is Coulter Mattox stayed over. This was our first spend the night guest besides the neighborhood kids. It went so well!! Perfect actually. We met up with Coulter's family at church the next day. Then my parents and us went to Tabella for lunch. Tabella is becoming our go to place - I think it is the 3rd time we have gone there with them.

All in all Sam had another great party. He enjoyed his friends so much. Another first is that he handled the party so well. He waited to open gifts. The day of - he was relaxed. He did not get himself so overwhelmed that he was tired by the time the party started. Sam is growing up every day in big ways.

First Post of 2020

It is 2020!!! I am in disbelief. But it here and we are going to have fun.

The first two pictures of the boys waiting for a PTO meeting. I had to be there and they came with me.

The other pictures are of our family going to a Pelicans vs Celtics game. Andrew likes all thing Boston so when the Celtics were in NOLA we made a trip down. We had great tickets and could see Zion Williams play. Zion was the #1 draft pick for 2020 so it was very exciting for the boys.
