Newpointe Shopping Center Open House

The boys and I went to New Pointe Christmas Open House this year. This is our 3rd going. We love it. Especially because it is the first time we get to see Santa and get a picture with him. But there are also train rides, dancers from DanceSouth and this year Painting with a Twist let the boys decorate ornaments. HUGE SUCCESS!!

Angel Tree Ceremony

The Pre-K classes at Sacred Heart are asked each year to perform Christmas songs for the start of the Angel Tree season with Salvation Army. Sam's grade did so well. Sam did perfectly. He sang and seemed to enjoy it so much.

America's Village in Montevalo, AL

Andrew's first grade class took a field trip to America's Village. This was a 4 hour drive to see Revolutionary time period information. It was cute and went with Thanksgiving. Andrew and his friend Mae rode together on the way back (with me as the driver). They both rode the bus us there - which was a treat.

Boy Scouts Day at the Rock

Boy Scouts had a "day" at the Rock. It was actually a pretty poorly organized event. BUT the day was super fun because we got to spend it with the Powell's. They invited us to their box and kids watched the game, played, ate a ton of food and over all had the best day!

Sacred Hearth Neon Knights

The boys' school had 5K/fun run fundraiser in November. This is our 2nd year going. After the race there is a band, food and drinks. It is a fun time. This year was no exception.

Both boys ran the fun run. I tried to keep up - but that was laughable. Sam is a great runner. He lapped me.

A normal day

The boys rooms are always messy...but they also play all the time together. I am so thankful for this.
