Andrew goes to the dentist

Also on Tuesday, March 27th Andrew went to his first dental appointment. I got a book about Elmo going to the dentist so he would have idea of what we were doing. Andrew had been on the grumpy side all week so he was hot and cold about the idea of the dentist. He became very shy in the waiting room but luckily they had Mickey Mouse Club House on tv so he was entertained. When we went to see the doctor they did not clean his teeth like I thought they would. The dentist just looked at the spacing of his teeth and felt around his mouth. All looked good. Andrew cried but got over it pretty quickly after the dentist was finished. He got to pick out a toy from the toy box and he picked a dump truck. He still plays with the truck.

After the appointment we went to McDonalds. We were too early for lunch so we had a 2nd breakfast.



Then Andrew got to play on their playground.


I would say Andrew's first dentist appointment was a success!
