December 2017 - Santa Visits Hattiesburg

Santa surprised the boys this year by coming to the house to check on them. What a surprise!!! It is truly a special treat and the boys feel so special.

Santa even brought gifts!! The each got a stuffed animal and a book that goes with the animal.

Sam's BIRTHDAY - 6 YEARS OLD

Hard for Sam to contain his excitement for his birthday. This boy loves birthdays and love presents. He loves attention and enjoys his day to the fullest. This year Sam got the kids garmin watch, flip a zoo animal pack, Lincoln logs and books. He played all day with this new toys.

Sam is into many things...he plays really well with the neighborhood kids who are older than him.
He likes legos, hotwheels, army men and anything you can collect. He loves finding rocks and going on adventures with Owen to find treasures in the ground. He is a hunter of finding things. He LOVES sparkly eye stuffed animals. In fact he counted and he has 27 of them. He said he likes their eyes the best. He likes to make people laugh. He gives the best hugs. He is so smart. His mind is always working and the way he understands how things go together or how the body works is truly amazing. It is a gift because it comes so naturally to him.

He likes sports - and he likes to play outside with friends. Andrew is his best friend. He really likes to have him around and do things with Andrew. Sam does not like to be in a room by himself or go to the bathroom by himself. He needs people around him.

He truly is the best son and best brother. We love you Sam!!!

Sam's 6th birthday snack party at school

Sam celebrated his birthday at school with donut snacks. Both kids don't like bringing cupcakes to school. Sam loved everyone singing to him. He likes the attention and thrives off positive vibes from people. This is the start of celebrating Sam's birthday!!

Ninjago Birthday Party for an 8 year old

The Neighborhood crew

Birthday parties are my favorite to plan. As the boys get older I know my time for themed parties are ending. Andrew held out one more year for me to throw a big party. He was set on a laser tag party. This was his first party at a "normal" - ha! place. He had the BEST time!! Friends from school and the neighborhood came to celebrate and play with Andrew. Sam invited his best buddy from school to come - Alex - and they ended up jumping on the trampolines. Neither one of them wanted to play laser tag.

Another first was the dig in approach to opening presents. I gave up trying to remember who gave what. It really is a right of passage to see what you got in the fastest way possible.

All in all it was the best most perfect day for Andrew.
