Santa Came to Town

We have a wonderful tradition thanks to me being a member of a Garden Club in town. That tradition is Santa comes to our house and visits with our boys. The past two years Andrew hasn't really been impressed with Santa and has cried and hung onto me for dear life. Not this year. Another area in which Andrew is growing up.

The night that Santa was coming I told Andrew that I wrote Santa a letter and asked him to come visit him and Sam. I asked Andrew if he thought Santa would come and Andrew said yes, he did think he would come to our house. I also asked Andrew if he was going to hug Santa and he said he would.

The boys had quick baths that night and got the boys into their Christmas pjs (Andrew calls them his booty pjs- b/c his name is on his booty).

The boys played and Sam did really good staying up a little late waiting for Ole Saint Nick. Then finally - Andrew sees Santa outside. He ran to him when Santa came to the door and gave him a big hug on his leg. Andrew was still very cautious but was answering Santa's questions. He even took a picture with him.

Sam was also cautious and just starred at him. Sam was fussy for just a minute but that was toward the end of Santa's visit. 

It was the best visit we have had and very fun memories!!

Santa came with presents too!

Santa brought presents for the boys too! He brought Andrew a Curious George Monkey and Curious George magnet game. He brought Sam the "Goodnight Moon' book and the stuffed bunny from the story! Santa did well! Both presents were a big hit!
