Picking out Roscoe
During our quarantine we decided our life needed a new puppy. We had already named this puppy - months prior to actually thinking we would get one. But being at home - both Owen and I are working from home - we thought it maybe just the right time to get a dog. So it took a long time to find a golden retriever puppy - apparently we were not the only family with this idea. We found Roscoe in Leakesville, MS. These pictures are the day we went to pick him out.

Easter
Blogger has changed it's editing options. I am having a trouble putting pictures up. These are pictures from Easter. We did Easter at the house. No church - just online church. Easter bunny did find us - which was fun. We did an Easter Egg hunt in the backyard for the kids. Then we ordered take out from Canebrake CC and enjoyed a relaxing Easter at home.
During this time of quarantine - it was new - and we loved being in the house and taking life at a slower pace.

First Confession
Sam had his First Confession during the quarantine. He did so well. He is such a big kid. And remember the Act of Contrition from months of not saying it at school.
We looked up videos from YouTube so he could see how confession works. It had been so long since he practiced with his class.
We got him a rosary from Jerusalem, a Bible book for boys and grandmom and grandad gave him money for a toy.

March 2020
March has been a different month. We went into quarantine in order to keep everyone healthy while the Coronavirus spread through America. Boys did school at home. We did a lot of walking. Went out of the boat. And the boys have taken up riding bikes. They had not picked up a bike in months but since we can't do too much - they have been riding ever day. In fact we bought Sam a new bike because his other one was too little for him.
The top pictures are of the neighborhood guys - they entered a crawfish cooking contest at Canebrake CC and they WON! This was before we had to do on lock down.
It has been an interesting time.

Chipped Tooth
Sam chipped is tooth helping with laundry. Andrew and he were racing to see who could get to the clothes the fasted. Sam's tooth hit a door knob and off the tip of the tooth went. We could not see the dentist because the world was in quarantine.
Luckily it is fixed now and it was so painless.

St. Patrick's Day/Special Day
My Special Day was on a Tuesday - the 2nd day of the quarantine. No big celebration for me. I did make the boys a green dinner and we took some festive pictures.
I am hoping we can re-celebrate when the world gets back to normal.

Temple Basketball
Andrew had Coach Temple again this year. We are so lucky to have him as a coach. Andrew learned so much and grew as a player. In fact Coach Temple said he was the most improved player on the team.
Sam was a natural - but he does not love it as much as Andrew. Sam loved seeing Coulter on the weekends more than playing in the games.
Sam also had Mitchell and Jay on his team. Jay's dad Josh Gianola.
Andrew had Liam Bailey, Brennon Thoms and one other friend from scouts (Art).
I think Andrew will continue to play and learn the game of basketball. He loves to shoot basketballs in our yard.

First week of staying at home - Corona-virus
These pictures are of the first week of the quarantine. My parents sent the boys lego sets - which was a winner. They had fun things to do while Owen worked from home. I still worked at the office for the first three days. The picture of the grocery store is Corner Market. No bread!! In fact two weeks later and there is still no bread.
It is a strange time. I know it is temporary but we are in the moment now and it is a little odd.

Corona-virus Quarantine 2020
So...March 6th began the quarantine. All schools are closed. Restaurants are closed (to-go only), most stores are closed and Owen and I are working from home.
It has been different. But there are good things too. We are spending alot of time together. Movie Nights on the weekends. Family meals together. Watching Wheel of Fortune together on the week nights.
This has actually been a little bit of blessing - even though all our routines are changing.

Emery's 9th Birthday
Amanda told me that Emery thinks her birthday should always be a playdate. So birthday play date we had. The kids are getting older so the play dates are really a time for Amanda and I to get together.
Emery likes athletic clothes - and I love to shop for her.
