Sam has showed interest in taking piano lessons. He has mentioned it off and on since last year. So I did some research and found that USM has a piano institute. We signed up Sam for 14 lessons with Chris Dixon who is a PhD student for music. He started on Jan 29th and took 5 lessons. Then USM closed (along with every other school in America) because of the coronavirus. Because of this, Sam will start back in the fall with his lessons.
1 - Andrew served at mass at St. Fabian for the first time. This was an ordeal. Since he is not in the CCD program - he kept getting looked over. But luckily he has a persistent momma.
2 - The super bowl - ha! Such a big event - not really. But we enjoy watching it with friends. We went to the Rhodes for craw-fish and hanging out. Then we went up to the Canebrake County Club to watch the game. We stayed until half time. I don't know why they put this game on a Sunday.
We have become Pelicans fans. Zion Williams is a new player - first round draft pick. We bought good seats for the Pelicans and Boston Celtics game. Andrew loves all things Boston so it was a perfect game for us to go to.
We have the BEST time. After that game - Owen and I bought season tickets for the 2020-2021 season. Just the weekend games.
We can not wait to start going more. The games are so much fun.
Our neighborhood friends got together to have a progressive dinner. This was our first year so we did countries. And we did meals at each house. That was alot of food.
The Drakes and Clarkes had America
The Welfords and Rhodes had Mexican
Us and The Lees had Ireland
and then we ended the night at Amanda and Roberts for dessert.
It was such a fun night - as the pictures show - we did wear tacky sweaters.
This post is all the fun holiday things we did this year. Sacred Heart had Christmas concerts, Cub Scouts had a Christmas meeting - Santa even visited. Then we spent time with the Munton's a few days before the 25th.
