Andrew's Sacred Heart Fall Festival

Andrew's class at Sacred Heart decided to do a fall festival at the park near by. The parents were charged with planning it. Our good friend Mandi was the leader of this and she assigned interested parents a game. We got assigned the bucket toss. Owen made the game. I think he did a fantastic job. After the games the kids had a picnic. It was a really nice day and was so fun being with Andrew and his friends.

Andrew said his favorite game was the bucket toss and the line dancing :)

Birthday party fun - Fire Station

One of Andrew's soccer teammates (and long time friend) Wilkes celebrated his 5th birthday at the fire station. Andrew loved it. He loved the fireman giving his demonstration of the uniform and on fire safety. The party was the same week that Andrew was learning fire safety at school.

This was an all boy party. The second one Andrew has been invited to. I guess this is the stage we are in right now.

Birthday Party Fun - Mary Poppins Style

A good friend of Sam (Caroline) had her 3rd birthday party the other weekend. It was a Mary Poppins party. Everything was so cute. Her mom (Melanie) had a carousel, sketch artist, umbrella decorating and all the food was themed perfectly. The boys had a great time.

Apparently I thought the carousel was really cute because I took a lot of pictures of the boys on the carousel.

What has been going on - Sam Update

Sam has been a trooper this soccer season. He loves going. He loves practicing with Andrew's team before the game and in between games. This boy is ready for soccer in the spring.

This is a picture Andrew took - Sam does not nap anymore on the weekends. He is too busy. He will  play so hard and then crashes. Luckily for me he cuddles up close and takes a nap with me. I personally love it.

Sam has always loved the cozy coupe. This is his favorite toy. He will spend as much time as you let him outside. He is a great player. He talks to himself in pretend play. He is a special kid.

What has been going on - Andrew Update

Andrew went to a bowling party for a friend of his at school. This was the first time he has bowled. I think he is a natural bowler. He loved it and it was such a great idea for birthday party.

Andrew asked me to go his school for lunch one day. The parents can sit with their child away from everyone else. Graham sat with us too. It was fun to see them at school. His class has the cutest kids and they seem to all get along very well.

School picture time!! I love this picture. Is Andrew excited or what???

Andrew has discovered taking selfies. He now knows how to use my phone camera. He had the best time taking pictures - mainly of himself.

Our favorite team the Mississippi State Bulldogs are #1 in the county for football. WHAT??? I keep thinking it is a dream. I took Andrew to the Auburn game. We had a great time. I love going and visiting with my parents. Adam was even there - a bonus treat. I wanted Andrew to feel the excitement. I wanted to feel the excitement. We bounced and danced and cheered the whole first half. Then it rained and Andrew was ready to leave. We went to Little Ceasers to get a pizza and went to my parents to finish watching the game. Later I asked Andrew what is favorite part of the weekend was...he said getting pizza. I asked him why and he said because it was just you and me. I love him so much!!!

Sam goes to a birthday party

Sam was invited to his first friend birthday party this past weekend. It was a little boy named Luke in his M&M class. He was so excited to go. It was a John Deer party and there was a jump jump, bubbles and cup cakes. Sam was in heaven. Luckily one his friends Caroline from school also came, because everyone else was family or neighborhood friends. Caroline and Sam play well and love each other. It was a fun afternoon. And it was fun for me to see Sam in his element with school friends.

Soccer Season has started

Andrew is playing soccer again this season. His team is TEAM Leopard. Owen is the U5 commissioner and the coach. The first games (we play two now) were great. Andrew really enjoyed playing and being with his friends. My parents came for the first game and Wanda came for the second game. It was a fun morning.

BEACH TIME

We went to the beach the weekend of Sept 5-7. This picture of Andrew is on the way down. He has been so worn out with school. He had been over tired the whole week but would not slow down. He feel asleep eating a snack and watching a movie. He has NEVER fallen asleep while watching a movie in the car. One tired little boy.

Here is Sam...he also would not stop the whole weekend. On Saturday after refusing to take a nap for an hour decided to fall asleep on me in mid play. Then on Sunday we fell asleep while eating lunch!

These are the only two pictures we have from the weekend. We played hard. Andrew swam so much and is getting better and better every time we take him swimming.

As always...it was a fun weekend. I love the beach.

Memorial Day

Our good friends the Maksi's invited us over to swim. It was a family day with my book club. I love the ladies in my book club. We all get along and our kids know each other so the day was alot of fun. This is the day that Andrew really grasped the concept of swimming. He swam all of the pool.

I was so proud of both of them. They played, they listened and we all had a great time! One of the best days off yet.

First MSU Game of the football season

We love going to the first State football game. This year it was really exciting because we were playing USM. Unfortunately it rained the whole day and we did not get to spend as much time on the campus. With that being said my parents now have a house so we did tail gate there and I liked it. We had a bathroom, could go inside if we wanted to, and could watch other football games while we waiting for our game.

The boys were overly excited about the day. We decided to drive up on Saturday since the game was at 6:00.

Both boys refused to take a nap...this is same on the way to campus before the dawg walk
