August 2017 - Neighborhood Parties

We have become very good friends with our neighbors. We feel so blessed that not only do Owen and I really enjoy their company, but the boys have neighborhood friends too. Most weekend nights we spend it with them at our house or another neighbors house. The boys love having a "party" and Owen and I enjoy it too.

As the pictures show - it is fun and it is tiring. Luckily these boys can sleep anywhere!

August 2017 - Back to School -2nd grade and Kindergaten

New School year for the boys. 2nd grade and Kindergarten. Andrew's teacher is Mrs. Brown again. She moved with his class to 2nd grade. Sam has Mrs. Morris. Who we know from Andrew having her in kindergarten too. So we were very happy with our teachers and excited to see what the 2017-2018 school year brings to the Munton Boys. :)

Owen and I created a study area for the boys - we added the chalk boards and back pack hooks too.

August 2017 - Back to School Hair Cuts

The boys went all summer without getting hair cuts. Something fun about that...but it was definitely time for one right before school. Andrew wanted spikey hair. He had it all planned for the whole summer. This would be a different hair cut and we were all excited to see how it would turn out.

August 2017 - The Munton's 50th Wedding Anniversary Party

Owen's parents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in August. Wanda did not want a party but Abby thought it was too special not to celebrate. So we planned a small family only dinner at our house. Wanda did get into a little and said she wanted Italian...so an Italian festivity was born. It was a very special party and everyone felt loved and close. I am really glad that it worked out.

August 2017 - Cousin Wil's birthday party in Hattiesburg

Cousin Wil's birthday is in July. Nathan and family came to Hattiesburg in August, so Wanda planned a party for Wil. We had it at the Canebrake pool and the cousins were able to play and swim all afternoon. It was a fun day. We love birthday parties.
