Sacred heart field day 2015

Sacred heart had field day in May. Owen and I volunteered and were assigned the jumpy obstacle course. We didn't get to see Andrew's class until they came to our station. It was fun to see all the kids in the elementary school. Owen and I had fun. He was at the start of the course and had it running in a military way. It was too funny.

Sam at school

Sam's teacher Ms. Claire sent me these pictures of Sam. He is a character. I'm so happy he has a teacher who loves him and watches over him for us.

Summer time play dates

Amanda and I have been getting together with ours kids since Andrew and Brantley were 6 months old. I'm so impressed we have kept these play dates going.

Our neighbor and good friends the Leathers have become weekly impromptu play dates too. Usually on Mondays because that is Breanne's day off. Graham and Andrew are good friends. Sam and Taylor (Graham's youngest sister) have bonded over the summer too. These relationships are priceless.

Mother's Day 2015

Mother's Day this year was perfect. We went to New Orleans on Saturday. We ate at Camilla Grill. It was our first time and we enjoyed it. Rode the trolley to lunch Then we went shopping and Owen bought me a purse I have been wanting for two years. The day could not have gone better.

On Sunday we met up with Owen's family in Jackson and had a picnic lunch. Mick was in physical therapy there so we got to see him. It was good to visit.

Pretty perfect Mother's Day.

Andrew's cheering section

Andrew is so blessed to have good friends who want to watch him play baseball. Love these little girls and the friendships they have with andrew.

Pre-K farm festival

Andrew's pre-k class had a farm festival. The students made their own farm animal. The animals were judged. They also played festival games with their 6th grade buddies. It was too cute. I volunteered and helped with a hoola hoop toss game.

Eli Bridges - Andrew's 6th grade buddy.

Hub City Kwanis - #12

Andrew played baseball for the first time this spring. He was in the U5/6 coach pitch league. His team started practicing in February. It was a rough start. I was worried we were on the bad news bear team...but magically they came together and now will end the season in 2nd or 3rd place. His last game is this Saturday.

Owen and I have enjoyed baseball so much. Much more than we thought we would. The games are relaxing - at night so the weather is not too hot. Practices are fun - Andrew gets a good work out and Sam plays hard too. Night time is pretty easy since they are both so tired.

Andrew has done well. He has been a good contributor to the team on offense. Being in the outfield is tough...he does not seem to motivated to pay attention...but he is learning.

He said he wants to play again next year.

Samuel

Samuel is a funny kid. His facial expressions are hilarious. The first picture is Sam at Emery's birthday party. I love how he is sitting.

The second picture is him sleeping. Not a care in the world. He looks so comfortable that we had to take a picture.

He brings such excitement and joy into our house. Love him!!!

Dad Adventures

On the weekends, Owen usually takes the boys for an adventure. This way I get some alone time and can clean or do laundry without the help of cute little brothers.

One afternoon he took them on a trail walk behind our house. Ralphie went to and Andrew walked him. Andrew has always loved Ralphie. But Andrew has stepped it up with taking the role of his care taker. There is a deep love and bond between Andrew and Ralphie.
