Spring Break part 3
On the last afternoon of our trip - it rained a little. But that did not stop us. We wore rain coats and still played. The last night we were there the boys slept in the same room. It was the end of the trip treat. They did this for the first time in Starkville the weekend before. Andrew was so tired and Sam was not as much because he was so excited. I only had to go in a couple of times to calm Sam down. But they did it! They were roommates :)
It was a fun week and so blessed that we were able to spend it with Aha and Mick. But we were ready to come home to the rest of our family.
Spring Break part 2
One afternoon the five us decided to go out to lunch. I drove since we had the van and could fit everyone. We were a little for lunch so we thought we would drive around a little. I never drive when we are the beach - Owen does! I didn't know the speed limits and got pulled over for speeding. With my in-laws in the car. It was awkward. Andrew piped up from the back "I think Aha should have driven" - He said this while we waited for my ticket. I think he was correct though. After that disappointment - we went to lunch. After lunch we dropped Mick off at the condo and the four of us went to the Naval Museum. This was our second time to go and the kids loved it just like the first time. But with them being so little - it was fun because it was like they were seeing all the planes for first time.
Andrew talks about wanting to be a pilot - then astronaut. It was really fun to see him touching all the controls and thinking he could possibly do this in the future.
Spring Break 2015 part 1
For Spring Break (Andrew's Spring Break...Sam and I tagged along) we went to the beach with the Muntons. Owen stayed back in Hattiesburg to work and to take care of Ralphie. He was definitely missed.
It was supposed to rain all week in Hattiesburg of spring break (which it did) and the beaches forecast was a little better. Luckily the first two days we were able to enjoy - it was overcast, but that is my favorite time.
We could not swim in the big poop b/c it was too cold, but the kids enjoyed the hot tub. This is the first time both boys were interested in the sand. They played so well and I was able to relax a little. Aha and Mick were there with us - so it was extra special and fun to be there with them.
Starkville Trip - March 2015
As a mommy to boys...I have taken it as my responsibility to expose them to as many fun sporting events as I can. Maybe it is because I like sporting events and hope they will too. Luckily Owen likes sports as well.
We planned a trip to Starkville to see my parents and catch a basketball game and thought we would see a baseball game too. However on Sunday Andrew was pretty ready to go home so we skipped the baseball game.
It was a fun weekend and as you can see from Andrew's picture - he was excited to see Bully!

Spring Soccer 2015

Both boys played soccer this spring. This was the first year for Sam. We just knew Sam would be the star of the team. He has watched his brother play for a year and a half. Sam would run on the field to play with his brother and team mates. But the opposite happened. Sam wanted nothing to do with his team or playing. So soccer was a bust for Sam.
Andrew played better than he has. He still doesn't really understand what to do. But he goes out there and runs and tries. His team did not practice at all. Not even once. And it showed a little. Hopefully next season is better - if the boys want to play next season.
Being Silly
Our three boys (Ralphie is included) can be so silly. Just look at Ralphie wearing his Mardi Gras beads. Andrew got in a mood to pose like a football player. He wanted me to take his picture with each pose. Sam participated too!!! Fun night with the crazy, happy and silly kids :)
Future Astronaut
Andrew has been telling us he wants to be an astronaut when he grows up. We think that is a good goal. His class talked about space one week and made NASA helmets and badges. He looks like one proud astronaut to me :)
Valentines Day 2015
Valentines Day was a fun weekend for us. The boys had parties at school on Friday the 13th and then my parents came to visit that weekend. My dad brought them trucks he played with as a child. Pretty special to be able to see my boys playing with them now.
