Ralphie’s birthday and New Year’s Eve

Our puppy dog is 11 Years Old!! He is healthy and happy. He loves his brothers and loves bones and his birthday shark. He gets a Saturday bone and knows when it is Saturday. It is the funniest thing. 

We also celebrated New Year's Eve with our neighbors. Fun night and the boys (and everyone) stayed up to see the New Year ring in! I could not believe we stayed up that late...the funny thing is the night went by so fast. The kids had grape juice and the parents had a champagne toast. It was fun to celebrate with everyone as families.

Red Beans and Rice birthday dinner

Red Beans and Rice Christmas Eve and Birthday Dinner for the 6th year in a row! We love our tradition with Sam and Christmas. There is not another kid in the world that embraces his holiday birthday like Sam. 

We invited our neighborhood friends, my parents and Owen's family to our birthday dinner for Sam. It is a house full of people and I love it so much. Sam is on cloud 9 because he is celebrated. He gets gifts and feels all the love in the world. We are blessed by Sam and by our friends and family. 

Our Baby is 7

Our baby is now 7 years old. How did this happen? Life and days are going by too quickly. Sam is so loving, funny, smart and athletic. He loves hotwheels, video games, and sports. He likes to draw and color. He loves his brother. Sam is a homebody. He wants to stay at home as much as possible. He likes to be in his pjs all day on weekends. He likes pasta with mozzarella cheese. He still loves milk and drinks it all day. He loves candy. He is so smart. Sam will explain scientific concepts with such detail and thought. He thinks outside the box and understands so well how things work, should work, and why things don't work. He is shy at first when he meets people, but quickly becomes the life of the party. We love him so much!! 

Holiday break fun

We love Holiday Breaks!!! Time with Ralphie, time with friends and lots of home time is what we love about the holidays. Sam received a MSU blanket from his godparents Melanie and Eric for his birthday. He LOVES it so much!!!

Zoo Lights

The boys have been wanting to go Zoo Lights. We missed it the last couple of years. But not this year and Zoo Lights did not disappoint. The boys enjoyed the lights and the animals. My parents were in town for the holidays and they joined us. The boys rode the train and carousel. It was a fun time and will be a fun memory.

Soccer Season 2018

Both boys played soccer this year. Sam was on a team with his school friend Alex and a new friend Bo Tatum.

Andrew was on a team with Ian, Jack Burks and Gavin Freeze (Gavin and Andrew went to M&M learning factory together).

These boat pictures are on Canebrake Lake. We took advantage of the lake this year. Andrew is really into the boat. He wants to know how to drive it, learn the parts, help Owen clean it. It is fun to see him like something especially something his dad likes too.
