Halloween 2019

This is the 3rd year Andrew is taking drums. The SHS drum students play during the Hattiesburg Halloween Parade. This year the parade was bigger and longer, but Andrew and his friends did a great job.

Field Trip for Sam's Class - 2nd grade

This is not from the field trip - but these boys are such good friends. Sam has a great group of kids in his class.

Sam's whole class

I can not remember where the field trip was this year. It was a working farm near the coast. No one had heard of it, but the parents really liked it. It was not as busy as Mitchell Farms. 

Sam's First 5K

Sacred Heart has a fall fundraiser that is a 5K run and 1 mile fun run. We have walked the fun run in the past. This year Sam wanted to run the 5K. I did not sign him up for that because I wasn't sure if on race day he would actually run it. Sam got so upset with me about that - luckily the race volunteers switched his registration and we was given a race number. Sam ran this race in 24 minutes. 3 miles in 24 minutes. He was first in his age group and 15th overall.

I think there will be more races in his future. However, we will need to stretch beforehand because his legs were very sore the next day.
