Easter 2016
Easter holiday was filled with fun family time. After mass we went up Owens Aunt and Uncles house. We had a nice visit and the kids had fun playing with their cousins.
M&M learning factory Easter Egg hunt
Andrew had a good break for Easter. Since he was off - he was able to go to Sam's school Easter egg hunt. It was at farm owned by the director of his day care.
Easter egg hunt - garden club
One of the fun things about being an anniversary member is that I can still take the kids to the Easter egg hunt. Sam was all about it. They both found so many eggs and had a great time.

Sam strikes again
Last night Andrew had a baseball game. The games are fun and his team is doing really well. They have lost all of their games except one...but they are playing hard and really coming together as a team.
Luckily this year there are several younger siblings that come to the games too. They all play with each other (running all over the place). It is a secure park and we know so many people there that I have a sense of safety. So Sam was running around with the other siblings and then I hear his cry. I start looking for him and the other siblings are rushing him towards me. Sam has blood coming from his head...it is all over his shirt and he has a nervous/hurt cry and look on his face. I immediately rush him to the bathroom to clean him up and to see where the blood is coming from. He had a cut on his head that luckily is a small scrap and nothing serious. But it scared me so much. And other mommas jumped right in to help me. Giving me towels and going to get ice from the concession stand. It does take a village. Sam got over it and was back to being a wild child. I am not sure I can emotional handle any more scraps and bumps but I know I have too...he is all boy.
After we all calmed down - we learned that a player from another team was running with his batting helmet on and did not see Sam. They collided and Sam hit the other kids helmet. The other kid did not stop and just kept running. So innocent mistake.

The best weekend
This weekend was magical. Nothing really special happened except the boys were on their A game. The boys played with their toys, I was able to read my book for book club, we ran errands, ate pleasant lunches, and watched Andrew play baseball. On Sunday I took the boys to church - they were fantastic. I am telling you - magical! After church we went to lunch and they ate their food, said yes ma'm to the waitress, and did everything perfectly. Then we went to watch a play at the Saenger Theater. It was Lion King JR put on by kids. Andrew and Sam again sat perfectly still and watched with delight. I am not sure why were so blessed this weekend but I am praying for a do over next weekend :)

Skating
Emery had her 5th birthday party at the skating rink. Andrew doesn't like skating. In fact he even skipped a birthday party because it was the skating rink. We have worked through that!! But Sam - he was ready to go. He tried his hardest. Did not want any help. He could do it!!! He is Mr. Independent.
Big Ben
These two are very curious about the world. This is a snow globe of Mississippi state. It has the clock tower in the globe. The boys thought it was Big Ben.

Birthday umbrella
Sam got an umbrella for his birthday. He has been wanting to use it so badly. Finally it rained and he was able to stay dry. 😀
Andrews class presentation
Andrew had a class project in February. He researched the state of Virginia. This was fun because he had been to Virginia and learning new facts was interesting. He also had to present his state.
Painting with a twist
I went out with the book club ladies in February. This is my creation. I did not like it while I was painting. But the next day, I loved it. It's hanging in Andrew's bathroom.
