Early Birthday Celebration for Sam

The boys had their Christmas parties at school on Friday so I took this opportunity to bring birthday cupcakes for Sam. His party theme is Mickey Mouse because this little one LOVES mickey. Sam knew from the moment I got him dressed that this was a day for him. He strutted and posed and smiled all day long. Love him!!

Today (Monday) they had Sam's sign up on the door at M&M

I am so excited for this holiday and for Sam turning 2! He is still young enough to be my baby and for him to want me to baby him but yet big enough to do more things with. Love the 2's!!!

Santa stopped by for a visit

Each year mommy writes a letter to Santa (garden club helps me) and I ask Santa to visit us. This year Santa came through. The boys were ready in their Christmas pjs and before his visit they played and we were able to get the cutest pictures of them.

 

Then the jolly ole St. Nick came and made Andrew's night. Sam was so afraid of him. Santa brought each of them a stuffie and it was a hit! Sam likes his much more than I thought he would. Santa came through big time!!

Andrew's 4th Birthday Party

Planes! It's a favorite item in our house. Andrew wanted an airplane party. So my mom found out there is a remote control airplane group in Hattiesburg and they let us come and watch them fly planes. Theory was perfect but the weather was too cold. The Pine Belt RC group could not fly as many planes as they had hoped. But the kids still have a fun time and that is all that matters.

Even though it was freezing - the kids had fun and Andrew knew he was special!!!!

Birthday time for Andrew

Andrew is now 4!!! And he is every bit 4. His vocabulary is amazing. He loves to be outside. He pays attention to sports and seems to really like football. He LOVES a stuffed animal. There is not a stuffed animal that this child does not like. He likes planes and big trucks. He likes to watch Apple TV. He is really getting into Spider man things and likes Jake the Pirate. He is a sweet, loving and just all around a great four year old.

He had his check up on Friday and he is in the 44% of height and 68% of weight. The doctor was very happy with his development. Since he will be going to 4 Pre-K at Sacred Heart they gave him his booster shots. Andrew did so well with the one in the arm but the leg one hurt - alot. It was a silent cry hurt. He limped the rest of the day (I think partly for the attention).

He does seem to really need attention right now. Which is hard for this momma b/c I want to give him all the attention I can, but it is hard.

Andrew was so excited for his birthday. He had been waiting so patiently for the day to come. Here are some pictures from the third.
